New Zealand: Kia Kaha

We as a country are about to enter an unprecedented time in history. We are locking our doors, keeping our children inside and our pets ensconced. Picnics are cancelled, hikes postponed. As a country, for the next four weeks, are keeping inside. Not simply for ourselves but for the most vulnerable in our community. Grandma and grandpa; the sick and ailing.

The enemy is invisible who threatens us. Covid-19. And while this is something we can not beat with brute force or war strategies, we can beat it by doing our part. By staying inside. That is our job for the next four weeks. Let’s do it well. Kia kaha.
